Nils was born in the Year of the Dragon and also in the Hour of the
Dragon. Whether that is significant for his interest in eastern Glorantha is anyone's guess. He
grew up in Valind's Waste (aka Sweden), in the province of Värmland, land of deep forests
and long lakes, mooses and wolves, great poets and tall tales. His ancestors include small farmers,
shopkeepers, clergymen, witch-burners and Sweden's greatest bear hunter.
Nils first learned about Glorantha in 1980, in an incredibly confused gaming session of Gringle's Pawnshop
from Apple Lane. He was instantly hooked and now has a long list of memorable moments from Glorantha
gaming. His publishing credits are rather unimpressive, with a couple of articles in fanzines and con
fundraisers and a couple of East Isles myths in Revealed Mythologies.
Outside gaming, Nils dabbles in art and
poetry.
Recently recovered from weird notions like involvement in business, he is now
settled as a government official. His daily work avatar is a systems analyst
for the swedish National Heritage Board, where
he tries to design database systems for archeological landmarks, historical buildings
and the like. Meanwhile, his Glorantha web avatar tries to keep this site together.
Nils is married to Anna, who is wise, beautiful
and wonderful. They currently live in Stockholm, Venice of the North.
Oh, and if you absolutely have to know, Nils officially leaves youth behind in 2004, by turning 40...
